Shopping can be tricky in-between seasons, you know how frustrating it is when bikinis are in stock but you're still wearing Uggs and jumpers? Well we've got the answer, jewellery shopping.

And we're not talking subtle pieces, we're talking big, statement items that can jazz up a jumper and will work just as brilliantly with your summer wardrobe.

The Critics' Choice Awards were held last night in Santa Monica, California, and it was another stellar night on the red carpet.

Anne Hathaway matched her pixie cut with a simple shimmering sheath dress with spaghetti straps by Oscar de la Renta, while The Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev dazzled in a teal sparkling Monique Lhuillier dress. Our favourite look on the red carpet, though, was Marion Cotillard who looked stunning in a beautiful Zuhair Murad prom style floral dress.

H&M always come up trumps with new season collections, and this year is no exception. If we had to pick just two items we'd go for the long green sun dress (number 8 in our gallery) and the fabulous sparkly bracelet (number 10), but really, we want the lot!

The awards season kicked off last night with the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles and it was a starry affair.

Hollywood was represented by Naomi Watts, Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Aniston, music had Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, and we Brits had Emma Watson and the dresses of Simone Rocha, Alexander McQueen and Julien Macdonald.
