Top trend: floral dresses

You can tell it's almost spring as floral prints are everywhere. From dainty little rosebud prints to bigger tropical-inspired ones, they're all over the shops.

There are so many that we've decided to split our florals up. Today we give you floral dresses, as so beautifully demonstrated here by Alexandra Burke. Keep an eye out in the next few weeks for trousers, tops, bags, shoes.

Top trend: pencil skirts

There are loads of pencil skirts in the shops right now for a simple reason, it's a look that all women, of all shapes and sizes can pull off. If you're slim it'll show off your sleek figure, if you're a curvy girl it'll highlight your assets. Perfect.

We love Angelina Jolie's black leather pencil skirt which she's paired here with a simple white blouse - it's a look that's classy and timeless and easy to copy. Of course, we don't all get to have Brad Pitt on our arm too, but you can't have everything.
