Internacional 1p shoe - UPDATE!

How long does it take for a 1p party shoe to sell out? Well if the tweet just sent by Internaçionale is anything to go by, 53 minutes should do it.

The fashion store put it's fabulous peep-toe party shoe on sale today at 9am for just one penny and has now sent out a tweet saying: "The #PennyPartyShoe offer is now over as the shoes are sold out. Huge thank you to everyone that went to the website to get theirs."

Are they shoes or are they art? Take two

Remember a fortnight ago we showed you the amazing fibreglass shoes by Julian Hakes? Well now we've stumbled upon these shoes which look like feats (or should that be 'feets'?) of engineering.

They're called Quantum and they're from Irregular Choice, who are known for their unusual and way-out shoe designs, and they appear to be ballet slippers balanced on bits of wood. They remind us a little of the 'geta' shoes worn by Geishas.

While the big trend in shoes at the moment is for masculine brogues and crepe-soled shoes we couldn't help but fall in love with these girlie and extraordinary shoes.

Designed by Julian Hakes, they're made from a single piece of wrapped fibreglass. They come in the red and purple shown, as well black.

Look at Lady Gaga's amazing shoes!

Lady Gaga is so consistently individual in the way she dresses that sometimes it's easy to miss the little details. So we were knocked out when we had a second look at the shoes she wore to the launch of her perfume Fame last week.
