There are some smells that almost everyone likes: freshly baked bread, freshly cut grass, roasting coffee beans. What about pizza? And how does the idea of a Pizza Hut perfume grab you?

Don't laugh! What started life as a tongue-in-cheek post on Pizza Hut Canada's Facebook page has now given birth to a real fragrance. The Facebook page originally asked its followers: "Do you love the smell of a box of Pizza Hut pizza being opened? We thought so. If that smell was a perfume, what would it be called?"

One Direction fragrance confirmed

We told you last month about the rumours that One Direction were going to bring out their own women's fragrance. Well now it's been confirmed.

WWD reports that the band have been working on the scent for six months with Olivann Beauty and have signed a deal to release a fragrance and other, as yet unknown, products.

Mark Wright: "I went for a Ryan Reynolds look"

Mark Wright launched his brand new his and hers fragrances last night and spoke about the look he was going for in the adverts to accompany the scents.

He told MailOnline that comparisons to Ryan Reynolds Hugo Boss perfume campaign are accurate, saying: "I did go for a Ryan Reynolds look. I didn't want to do anything cheesy, it had to be classy and smart."

One Direction to bring out their own perfume?

Hold onto your hats because the fragrance we've all been waiting for is apparently on it's way.

According to Marie Claire, One Direction are bringing out their own scent. They quote a source close to the band as saying: "One Direction are working on releasing a scent, it’s all super secret right now.

Rihanna releases first ad for Nude scent

Rihanna has released the first ad for her new fragrance Nude via Twitter.

The singer published the pic saying: "Here is my new add for a brand new fragrance #NUDE !!! Make sure you smell sexy, especially naked, this fall"

Nude is Rihanna's third fragrance but there's no word on what it will smell like. We'll let you know as soon as we hear anything.

Lady Gaga does Lana for Fame London launch

Lady Gaga hit London this weekend for the British launch of her perfume Fame, and we couldn't help thinking she reminded us of another female pop celeb.

The singer wore her hair long, with a plain black dress and her only embellishment was some very fancy gold rose hand jewellery and a gold rose bracelet, and could easily have passed for Lana Del Rey's sister.

Nicki Minaj releases fragrance advertisement

Nicki Minaj has released the first ad for her debut perfume, Pink Friday.

The ad shows the rapper in a tutu and bejewelled heel-less shoes standing in front of the New York skyline. The ad also shows the bottle, which is modelled on Nicki.
