We absolutely LOVE glittery nail polishes, especially at this time of the year. What we DON'T love, however, is trying to get the stuff off afterwards. There are a couple of peel-off base coats on the market from Innisfree and Essence but unfortunately they're not for sale in the UK yet. We love a fab pair of nails, and we think Lily Cooper's look amazing.

The singer got her nails done by Michelle Humphrey, who goes by the name @nailsbyMH, and tweeted the picture of her latest manicure saying: "#nailsdid nudey colour blocking @nailsbyMH"

We think they look like very fancy designer eyeshadow palettes and we don't blame Lily for pampering herself a bit, with her second baby thought to be due next month she needs to relax while she can.

Mariah Carey has become the latest celeb to get her very own OPI nail polish collection.

The singer, and current X Factor judge, is bringing out a collection of eight limited edition colours which have names like Can't Let Go, The Impossible, Butterfly Moment and Pink Yet Lavender.

The colours are set to launch in January 2013 and include a new nail texture called 'liquid sand'. OPI says this new polish "dries to a textured matte finish infused with reflective glints of light".

Coleen Rooney has joined thousands of other women showing their support for breast cancer charities this week by painting their nails pink.

The Paint For Life campaign has been launched to raise awareness of breast cancer. Get involved by painting one fingernail, or all your nails pink.

Coleen tweeted: "I’m painting my nails pink in support of cancer research & #PaintforLife week."
