The pic, from one-fifth of The Saturdays, shows a dressing table groaning with all manner of lipsticks, blushers, eyeshadows and a LOT of false eyelashes! The singer posted the pic saying: "Just a natural makeup look today then..."

We loved Ella Henderson’s retro makeup look on Sunday night, so we asked the official X Factor make-up artist, Julia Carta, to explain exactly how to recreate this amazing look.

1) For a look like this it is essential to prepare your skin first. We gave Ella an Eve Taylor facial to loosen dead skin cells and smooth the skin surface. I then used Vita Liberata Skin Plumping Peptide Mist to regulate the pH level of her skin.

2) Next I applied Urban Decay Pore Perfecting Complexion Potion, giving it time to settle before I applied make-up.

High street favourite Lush have launched their first range of cosmetics. Not only does it include the most fantastic array of colours we've seen in a long time, but Lush have also managed to come up with a whole new way of choosing colours.

The idea is the Emotional Brilliance campaign is that you select the colours that jump out at you, rather than sticking with what you feel suits you, or what happens to be on-trend. It's supposed to reveal something about your state of mind at the time - and the colours have suitable names such as Ambition, Control and Confident.
