Get the look: Ella Henderson's X Factor hair

Earlier today we brought you a step-by-step guide to recreating Ella Henderson's amazing retro make-up look from Sunday night's X Factor. Now, X Factor's official hair stylist Jamie Stevens explains exactly how to recreate Ella’s amazing hair look.

To begin, put a low side parting into the hair & blow dry, I used TRESemme’s Weightless Volumizing Mousse & a medium round brush.

Get the look: Ella Henderson's gorgeous retro style X Factor make-up

We loved Ella Henderson’s retro makeup look on Sunday night, so we asked the official X Factor make-up artist, Julia Carta, to explain exactly how to recreate this amazing look.

1) For a look like this it is essential to prepare your skin first. We gave Ella an Eve Taylor facial to loosen dead skin cells and smooth the skin surface. I then used Vita Liberata Skin Plumping Peptide Mist to regulate the pH level of her skin.

2) Next I applied Urban Decay Pore Perfecting Complexion Potion, giving it time to settle before I applied make-up.

Get the look: Tulisa's denim playsuit

Tulisa was spotted out yesterday working a fab 1960's look with a super-cute denim playsuit, long boots, headband and pink sunglasses.

We love this look so we're very pleased to have tracked down the playsuit, which is from ASOS and is a bargain at only £38.

Get the look: Rihanna's glam lips

Rihanna chose a shocking pink Marchesa prom dress for last night's Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People party.

She kept the glam theme going with a classic make-up look. We adore her dark pink lips so we've hunted high and low for a similar shade and reckon that Clinque's High Impact Lip Colour SPF 15 in After Party just about hits the mark.
