People's Choice Awards 2013: best of the dresses

The awards season kicked off last night with the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles and it was a starry affair.

Hollywood was represented by Naomi Watts, Sandra Bullock and Jennifer Aniston, music had Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, and we Brits had Emma Watson and the dresses of Simone Rocha, Alexander McQueen and Julien Macdonald.

VMAs 2012: best of the red carpet

Last night saw the MTV VMAs at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and it was a very glitzy red carpet.

Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Katy Perry and Pink all went for stunning floor length gowns, while Taylor Swift went for an all white trouser suit, and Nicki Minaj and Rita Ora caused a stir in bling-tastic jumpsuits.

So sit back and enjoy the best of the red carpet.

Emma Watson reveals her red carpet smashes

Emma Watson has revealed her two favourite red carpet dresses.

The Harry Potter actress spoke to Glamour Magazine saying: "My all-time favourites are probably the white Alexander McQueen dress I wore to the Awards, and the vintage Ossie Clark dress I found in a shop around the corner of my house"

The white embellished McQueen dress was worn to the National Movie Awards in 2008 and the Ossie Clark made its debut at the London premiere of Harry Potter & The Half Blood Prince in 2009.

MTV Movie Awards 2012: best of the red carpet

This weekend saw the MTV Movie Awards in Universal City, California, and the young stars of Hollywood hit the red carpet in their finery.

Less 'couture' and more laid back than other red carpets, the MTV Movie Awards still saw some fab outfits. We particularly liked Emma Watson in a purple Brood dress, Charlize Theron in scarlet Lanvin, Kristen Stewart in Guishem with her standard Louboutins, and Elizabeth Banks in a very different Ellie Saab jumpsuit.

Emma Watson gets the WAG look!

She shot to fame as Hermoine in the Harry Potter films, then she became one of the faces of top beauty brand Lancôme but Emma Watson's latest film role sees her in an altogether different look!

Emma is on set filming a new move, The Bling Ring, and as you can see from the photo she tweeted, with a pink tracksuit, tattoos and UGG boots - her look is more reminiscent of a late 90's WAG than A-list superstar.

Kristen Stewart tops Glamour's Best Dressed Women 2012 list

Kristen Stewart has been looking better and better with every red carpet appearance and it hasn't gone unnoticed. The Twilight star has been named Best Dressed Woman 2012 by Glamour Magazine.

The full-list, which is voted for by readers of the magazine, includes the likes of Fearne Cotton (no. 18), RosieHuntington-Whiteley (no. 17) and Kristen's Twilight co-star Ashley Greene (no. 50), and Glamour praised Kristen's progression from “awkward teen to style queen” and said she was always “effortlessly on-trend”.

Outfits of the weekend: Katy Perry and Emma Watson

The stars were out in force this weekend with both the Grammys and BAFTAs being held on Sunday night, so it was always going to be a difficult week to just choose one favourite outfit. So we chose two.

Katy Perry went for colour blocking and colour matching at the Roc Nation Pre-Grammy Brunch. Her ring and skirt were blue to go with her recently dyed hair, and her lipstick complemented her magenta top. We also love her musical-themed shoes.

Emma Watson returns as face of Lancôme

At only 21 Emma Watson has already starred in some of the biggest films ever, modeled for Burberry and been photographed by Mario Testino, making her one heck of a lucky girl!

Emma has worked with Lancome before, most famously running around the streets of Paris in the TV ad for Lancôme's Tresor Midnight Rose, but we adore this photo for Lancôme's Rouge in Love and Rose Boudoir lip and nail collections.
