Sparkly Uggs. Great or gross?

Uggs seem to have been a staple during the winter for as many seasons as we can remember. They're comfy, easy to wear, keep your toes warm. What's not to like?

But what about sparkly Uggs? 6Music DJ Lauren Laverne tweeted last night: "PLEASE TELL ME THESE DON'T EXIST AND THAT IT'S ALL A DREAM" with a link to the blue beauties above, and was soon chatting over Twitter with Alexa Chung about how wrong thought they were. When Lauren jokingly said that she was "Having the person who did it killed", Alexa suggested "Along with the person who brought back harem trousers".

Waiting list for Alexa's leather-look nails

When Alexa Chung won British Style Icon at the British Fashion Awards for the third time it further proved her role as a trendsetter. The leather-look nails she sported that evening have certainly caused a storm, the kit is not even available to buy yet, and Nails Inc already have a waiting list of around 900 people who can't wait to get their hands on it.

Tweeting from the event, Alexa said: "'Aaaaannnnnndddd thanks @nailsinc for my leather nails! #kinky".

George Northwood talks about cutting Alexa Chung's hair

George Northwood is the hairdresser responsible for keeping Alexa Chung's famous tresses in check.

The hairdresser has spoken to Vogue.co.uk about his famous client. He tells them that she first came to him when she signed with Storm models eight years ago: "I used to do all of the new faces' hair for their books. I did my invisible layering technique on her and she loved it - she said 'you're going to cut my hair forever!' And so far she has stuck to that."

Rita Ora becomes the face of Superga

Rita Ora has replaced Alexa Chung as the face of Superga, the brand has announced.

Superga has said that the singer will front its spring/summer 2013 campaign and will take part in an exclusive photo shoot for the Italian shoe brand. The campaign is set to launch in March 2013.

Alexa Chung has told Fashionista.com that she's fed up with people focussing on her weight.

The model and TV presenter told the website: "I think it's about time people stopped judging women on their appearance and more on their intellect, like you can appreciate my style without having to appreciate my weight. It's not actually mutually inclusive.

Now Alexa has told the website Fashionita: "It’s basically a compendium of drawings, photographs and I’m going to write about a bunch of stuff. It’s not like a “style bible”, which I keep reading it being reported as."

Alexa Chung to pen first book

Alexa Chung has signed an agreement to write her first book.

The TV presenter, model and all-round fashion goddess has will reveal her style influences and tips, personal pictures and musings, through a combination of writing, drawings and photographs.

The as-yet untitled release is scheduled for September 2013 and will be published by Penguin imprint, Particular Books.

Bag envy: We want Alexa Chung's Mulberry leopard print bag!

London Fashion Week is in full swing and as usual it's leaving us seriously envious of some celebrity wardrobes.

We're sure Alexa has a good few Mulberry bags tucked away, but this one really makes us drool! The bag in question is a Mulberry Giant Leopard Haircalf Bayswater, from their 2010 collection, and rather aptly, Alexa was pictured arriving at Mulberry's London Fashion Week catwalk show with it today.

We want one!
