Is Rihanna the inspiration for Stella McCartney's new collection?

We know that Stella McCartney and Rihanna are big pals. The singer has been invited to Stella's exclusive LFW launch parties and has often been seen out and about in Stella's designs, but now there are stories doing the rounds that Rihanna has become the designer's muse.

Vogue.com is reporting that the pair have been having 'regular chats', with a source telling the website: "They call them mood calls. Stella rings Rihanna and asks her to explain what has influenced her mood that day - colours, textures, patterns."

"Stella feels that she needs to tap into a younger generation and Rihanna is happy to help. It's a bizarre way to create a fashion line but they work well together."

Maybe Rihanna will also pick Stella's brains for her River Island capsule collection.
