Ke$ha takes her hair to the next level

She's not shy about trying new things but we were surprised when we saw the pic Ke$ha tweeted of her new hairdo.

She's had the sides shaved before but now she's gone one step further and got studs glued onto the side. She tweeted the pic with a short and simple statement: "Is happening"

We spoke to X Factor's resident hairdresser, Jamie Stevens about the look and he said: "Ke$ha's new hairdo is definitely something different, the studs are glued to the hair with hair bonding glue, and it looks like the hair underneath has been cut short, so will look really cool without the studs as well."

He told us that this sort of look would only last a day or two, "it’s not a permanent option, it’s more of an accessory".

And if you're thinking of trying something like this yourself, Jamie says; "This sort of work would be priced on application as the amount of hair to be covered will vary, but the prices would be similar to having panels of hair extensions."
